Born in Nima Accra, Yussif Fadilatu hails from Ghana’s Upper Western region. She has a history of studying advanced Fashion prior to attending university, and her first industrial attachment introduced her to the manufacturing aspects of the fashion industry. Yussif considers Gareth Pugh, Alexander McQueen, Dior and Hussein Chalayan to be her role models, as well as the sewing of Mrs. Akoto Bamford, who she apprenticed with for three years. Once finished with her Fashion Design Degree at Radford University College, she intends to become a top international fashion designer. Her clothing line draws inspiration from the Cobra due to its beautiful yet mysterious nature. With this in mind, she has prepared a collection that reflects the intricate and striking features of snakes; from their skin, to their colors, structure, texture and silhouettes.
