ABOUT GFDW

GHANA FASHION & DESIGN WEEK (GFDW®) international event launched in 2012, earning its place on the global fashion weeks calendar as an innovative platform for commerce, championing development and advancement in fashion and creative business promotion, and education in Ghana.

The annual international event provides a business platform for Ghanaian designer entrepreneurs, and designers in the Diaspora, alongside international designers to showcase their collections to local and global audiences, and connect to new market opportunities. Through the platform activities, creative entrepreneurs are exposed to retailers and buyers of interest, influential press and media, and Africa’s neo-fashion consumers, whilst creating the opportunity for international trade and tourism in Ghana.
