INTRODUCING MIFANI – SHOE BRAND IN COLLABORATION WITH GHANA FASHION & DESIGN WEEK 2013.

Ghana Fashion & Design Week is pleased to introduce Mifani the new addition to our team of collaborators on this year’s event. Mifani is the new must have shoe label for show-stopping footwear at affordable prices. The independent label specialises in super statement; intrinsically embellished high-heels that are guaranteed to turn heads.

Coming from the UK, brand Mifani is already making news and quickly becoming one of the most talked about Shoe brand across renowned magazines including; Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Now Magazine, Look Magazine, Glamour, You & Your Wedding, to name a few.

Using mock precious stones, emeralds, onyx and sapphire gems, Mifani’s bejeweled shoe concept is a tribute to opulence, luxury and baroque glamour. The exclusive designs range from block heels, platforms, and boots in a myriad of trends, standout colours for AW13 including Ruby red, pony skin and embellished gem heels. Looking ahead to SS14 we will see Tangerine orange, Cobalt blue and statement buckles for chic summer style in an instant.

Founder Audrey Mifani’s love for customizing shoes inspired the journey of the Mifani’s shoe brand establishment, teaming up with her life-long friend Emilia, whose natural eye for design and fashion has helped drive the brand.

Mifani says ‘Jewellery and embellishment is a huge inspiration for us. We study the intricacies and details of precious metals and costume Jewellery making references to it in all of our designs. We want to make wearing shoes a special experience and offer customers something different to what is currently on the high street.’

Well, this year GFDW has teamed up with Mifani to bring a taste of the bejeweled shoes to the event. GFDW will reveal the fresh new seasons’ SS 2014 Mifani shoe collection to grace the catwalk shows.
